The July 2023 Health and Wellness Seminar Series presented by Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian will be offered in a hybrid format. In-person seating is limited - registration for in-person attendance is strongly encouraged - walk-ins will be offered open seats approximately 2 minutes before the start of the session. Seats for walk-in attendees cannot be guarenteed. Standing will not be permitted. Light refreshments will be served. Registration for online attendance is required.

July 20, 2023 || Staying Connected: Social Connections as a Path to Mental Health and Well-being as We Age

This presentation will focus on the effects of social isolation and loneliness on mental and physical health during late life. It will address the importance of social interactions and provide recommendations on how to facilitate wellness and reduce risk of depression.

Up to one in five Americans may develop skin cancer in their lifetime. Dr. Blank will discuss ways to assess your own skin for cancers and the best methods for skin cancer prevention.
