The Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) Division of Government & Community Affairs in the Office of External Affairs serves as WCM's liaison to government agencies, officials at city, state and federal levels and communities that WCM serves throughout New York City. We foster collaboration and communication with elected officials, advocacy organizations, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), local community leaders and stakeholders as well as New York-Presbyterian Hospital and other affiliated institutions who also seek to advance the missions of patient care, research and education. Our community relations activities center around public health education, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiatives, and participation in events including health fairs and community benefit celebrations.
